Figma is kicking off its initial public offering with plans to raise about $1 billion. The design software start-up plans to list under the stock ticker “FIG” at the New York Stock Exchange.

Figma’s stock-market debut comes after a string of successful IPOs this year, including Circle Internet Group Inc. CoreWeave Inc. and Chime Financial Inc. as the new issues market warms up to companies that have been waiting to go public for years and have been able to grow to a significant size by tapping private-market capital.

The collaborative design software start-up Figma is eyeing a valuation of $13.6 billion on its market debut; however, experts predict that its valuation could stretch up to $16 billion including restricted stock units and options.
