Cody Bellinger, who played for the Cubs the previous two seasons before he was traded to the Yankees in a salary dump this past December, got a curtain call in the eighth inning after his third blast narrowly cleared the wall in right-center field.

Bellinger exchanged messages with Pete Crow-Armstrong and other former Cubs teammates after accomplishing a career first.
