The sizzling Los Angeles Clippers rolled into the playoffs as the NBA's hottest team having won 18 of 21, including their last eight. Kawhi Leonard was playing like his old self after dealing with injuries ever since joining the Clippers five years ago.

The Clippers dropped a 112-110 overtime game to the Denver Nuggets Saturday night at Ball Arena to open the playoffs. They are down 1-0 in the best-of-seven series because Russell Westbrook was as a menace against his former team and supplied the Nuggets with the energy and big plays they needed to get the win.

For one half and an overtime, Murray was exactly the player the Nuggets needed him to be to pull off a Game 1 win.
