“The NBA announced today that Chicago Bulls guard Coby White was named the Kia NBA Player of the Month in the East for games played in March,” the Bulls said in a press release. “White joins Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan as the only Bulls players to earn the monthly honor.”

Coby White was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for March. He didn't cool off on the first day of April.

The fact that White can play off the ball, while also taking over possessions, makes him enormously attractive for teams with ball-dominant superstars. If the Lakers see LeBron James retire in 2026, White would make perfect sense as a backcourt partner to Luka Dončić, and could occupy a big chunk of the salary slot left by James.
