As Elon Musk called one of President Donald Trump's top economic aides a "moron," the White House on Tuesday declared that "boys will be boys."

The White House press secretary said the public fight between Musk and Navarro "speaks to the president’s willingness to hear from all sides."

Elon Musk sparred on social media Tuesday with White House Senior Counselor Peter Navarro, after Navarro said in an interview Monday that Tesla is a car “assembler" rather than a manufacturer.
