NBC executives explained why 'Suits LA' was canceled after just one season: 'It's not showing the potential to grow.'

Suits LA is ending its run. Yes, already. NBC has canceled the spinoff series of the beloved USA Network courtroom dramedy. The first season will conclude with its forthcoming May 18 finale, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

When asked over the weekend why the spinoff from Suits creator Aaron Korsh had to go, NBCUniversal’s President of Program Planning Strategy Jeff Bader admitted “it’s so hard to talk about shows and which ones we’re bringing back.”
