Oklahoma freshman guard Jeremiah Fears will enter the 2025 NBA draft and forgo his remaining college eligibility.

The freshman guard announced his decision Wednesday on ESPN's The Paul Finebaum Show, per ESPN's Jonathan Givony. Fears averaged 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals while averaging 30 minutes through 34 games of his freshman season. He is ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect on B/R's latest 2025 NBA Draft Big Board.

Fears led the Sooners to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2021. ESPN considers Fears the 7th ranked prospect in the upcoming NBA Draft. Initially Fears was a class of 2025 recruit, but reclassified to join the Sooners in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
