MLB insider Jon Heyman believes that Philadelphia Phillies slugger Nick Castellanos is “gone one way or another” after the team reportedly signed former Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis García to a one-year, $10 million contract on Monday.

The start of a new week brought several notable moves, including ex-Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia joining the Phillies. Speaking of the Rangers, Texas made a Major League signing on December 16, as former TCU pitcher Tyler Alexander will return to the Lone Star State for 2026.

The Texas Rangers lost another player from the 2023 World Series team, as the former Golden Glove signs with the Philadelphia Phillies.
