(WGHP) — Robbie Coltrane, an actor known best for playing the beloved character Hagrid in the “Harry Potter” movie franchise, has died, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Coltrane was 72 years old.

Coltrane's agent told Deadline that the "Harry Potter" and "James Bond" star died in a hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland.
