These cops had to grin and bear it! New Jersey State Police made a heartwarming rescue when inexplicably finding an “adorable” bear cub all alone in a busy highway ditch. Troopers from Troop “B” Perryville Station responded to a highly unusual call on Wednesday,

"Thanks to the swift response of the troopers, the cub is now safe and receiving the attention he needs," state police said

DEEP officials said the bear population remains stable and has a high potential for growth due to “an abundance of suitable habitat and excessive human-related food.”
