Disneyland fans say Tiana’s Bayou Adventure much wetter than Splash Mountain The new water ride opens to the general public on Friday, Nov. 15 after extensive annual passholder previews.

Disneyland’s Splash Mountain has officially closed after more than 33 years at the California resort. A new ride will take its place at Disney parks.

Splash Mountain at Disneyland in Anaheim, California is set to close on May 31. It will be replaced by an attraction inspired by The Princess and the Frog called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024.

Disneyland will temporarily wall off the themed land on May 1 to reimagine two retail shops with a Princess Tiana theme.
