The City of Fond du Lac celebrated the completion of its Main Street Rehabilitation project Thursday afternoon.

With the weather getting warmer, road construction is starting in the Fond du Lac area. Here are some projects to look out for this year.

FOND DU LAC – South Main Street will close for resurfacing starting Aug. 12. According to a community announcement, the closure will extend from the intersection of First Street to Sixth Street.

FOND DU LAC – An emergency closure of the northbound lane of North Main Street at the intersection of Johnson Street is to remain in effect until 7 a.m. July 31.

Fond du Lac’s Department of Public Works said the southbound lane between Merrill Avenue and Division Street will be closed from noon until 3 p.m. April 22.
