LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - This past Friday, Lexington kicked off “Tree Week,” a week of seminars, classes and giveaways all focused on celebrating the city’s tree canopy.
Use this resource to identify dormant trees with just the buds and twigs. It takes a little effort but opens new doors to winter tree identification.
Only the tree itself will be accepted. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife will be accepting evergreen trees at 33 drop-off locations across the state from December 26 through January 15, 2025.
