PORTAGE LAKES, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division (ODNR) of Wildlife has announced the closure of the youth fishing area in Portage Lakes for renovations.

Bluegill fishing is the best bet around the Portage Lakes and the Cleveland Metroparks ponds and lakes, such as Wallace, Shadow and Ledge lakes.
