Scores from the kindergarten readiness test show students who went to Pre-K programs were able to start school prepared.

Judson Independent School District will offer a pre-kindergarten program for 3-year-old children at all of its 20 elementary school campuses.

Academically, students who have been through pre-K have been introduced to letters, numbers and colors, so they're more prepared for sight words, adding and subtracting when they get to kindergarten.
