The surfer who lost part of a leg in a shark bite a week ago is now home from the hospital. The 61-year-old Wailuku man, identified as “Kenji,” was bitten while surfing off Waiehu Beach Park. His family said on his GoFundMe page he was discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
