BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The holiday festivities will soon be underway at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The annual Holidays in Space event will launch Friday, Dec. 20, and run through Dec. 30.
Major space events this century include a near-Earth asteroid flyby in 2029, the darkest lunar eclipse, a planetary parade in 2040, and the brightest supermoon in 2052.
