Groups teemed at the Saint Louis Zoo Friday night to watch the animals and sip drinks, with no children in sight.

Four young spider monkeys are now happily adjusting to life at the zoo after being taken from smugglers at the southern U.S.

Anyone can now visit the young Mexican spider monkeys living at the St. Louis Zoo, but their journey to get there was traumatic.

“Even though they’ve had a lot of early life trauma, coming to the Saint Louis Zoo... they’re actually going to be able to live with other spider monkeys. They’re going to be able to grow up.
