The 5th Dimension is participating in the recording of a new album that will feature updated versions of Motown classics.

Jimmy Webb wrote the song when he was in college and struggling to make ends meet. Originally a theme for a teen-movie concept, it was recorded by the 5th Dimension in 1967 for their first album.

“We are not going to rule out” recording a new 5th Dimension album, Davis says, adding that the group is planning future tours with the original personnel.
