This isn’t a purely partisan trend. Over the last month, the perception that the economy is getting worse increased by 7 points among Democrats (from 81% to 88%), by 5 points among independents (from 58% to 63%) and by 4 points among Republicans (from 16% to 20%).
Democrats harnessed worries about the cost of living, with polls showing that Republicans’ longtime advantage on the economy has evaporated.

AUSTIN, Texas - More Texans are growing concerned about the economy and their personal economic outlook, according to a new poll from the Texas Politics Project at the University of Texas.
Over 4 in 10 of New Jersey voters said that support for transgender rights in society have "gone too far," according to preliminary exit polling. Roughly another quarter said they have not gone far enough and around a quarter said support for trans rights has been about right.
