Chewy the raccoon is "safe and secure" after he was discovered playing with meth pipes during a traffic stop Monday evening, police said.

After Springfield Township police encountered a raccoon with a meth pipe during a recent traffic stop, they are working the family to find it a home.

As fun as it is seeing a raccoon holding a meth pipe, it is very sad to see someone in that condition with that addiction,' Officer Austin Branham said.
