Mikko Rantanen, a right wing for the Stars, put together a four-point performance including a hat trick. He had spent the first full nine years of his career in Colorado and was traded from the Carolina Hurricanes to Dallas earlier this year.

The Colorado Avalanche lost to the Dallas Stars 4-2 in Game 7 of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday.

The game at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, is the only one on the schedule Saturday night, May 3. It's a big one, with the winner advancing to the second round and the loser heading home for the summer.
