Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have no interest in going back to a galaxy far, far away. While on the "Happy, Sad, Confused" podcast, host Josh Horowitz asked the "Project Hail Mary" directors if they wanted another go at the "Star Wars" franchise after being fired from "Solo" back in 2017.

Ryan Gosling’s performance in the new sci-fi film Project Hail Mary has us pumped for his role in the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter.

Project Hail Mary, from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, makes us curious what their version of Solo: A Star Wars Story would’ve been like.

The duo were the original directors for Solo, the spin-off starring Alden Ehrenreich that follows the origin story of Han Solo. However, Lord and Miller were replaced on the film by Ron Howard before release – though, by the sounds of things, they might have been originally signed up to do more films.

Lord/Miller are protective of their "Flash' movie idea that may be used in the future and are disinterested in coming back to 'Star Wars.'
