A zoo in northern Denmark is asking pet owners to donate their unwanted guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and even small horses – not to put them on display but to feed them to the zoo’s predators.

On Thursday, July 31, the Aalborg Zoo in Aalborg, Denmark, shared a call-out to its Facebook page, informing locals that they can donate "small pets" to the zoo to help feed the zoo's predators.

CTCR says they released a male and female lynx on the Reservation on Nov. 2, 2021, in an effort to bring back the lynx population to the area.
