The introduction of the scooters in Bridgeport was done to great fanfare in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lynx provided a fleet of 125 of the scooters circulated all over the city.

An electric scooter company is providing an alternative for people trying to get around Bridgeport. Bethel-based Lynx has expanded into Bridgeport and says the response has been overwhelming.
