The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a position they aren't often in. One of the team's coordinators is garnering interest as a head coaching candidate. This never happens, as Head Coach Mike Tomlin having a nonexistent coaching tree is one of the major blemishes on his resume.
The Jets also are expected to interview Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, Commanders defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr., Vikings quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese.
Arthur Smith, Brian Griese, Aaron Glenn, Vance Joseph and Bobby Slowik. The list stands at 12 currently with seven of those names being people who have held head coaching positions in the past.

As the number of coaching candidates the Jets interview seems to grow by the hour, you have to wonder if Mike Tannenbaum and Rick Spielman are getting paid hourly.
The NFL coaching carousel is spinning slowly. The Jets, Saints and Bears got a head start in their searches because they fired coaches during the season. The Jaguars and Raiders joined the hunt last week. The Cowboys jumped in Monday so they have to wait to interview assistants on playoff teams because the first window passed.
