Texas football is losing one of its key assistants on the defensive side of the ball in a big move to join Kellen Moore and the Saints.

The New Orleans Saints have added a new defensive passing game coordinator to their coaching staff. Per reports, Terry Joseph will be hired for the role. On Monday, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network was the first to report that the Texas Longhorns assistant is leaving the program to become the defensive passing game coordinator for the Saints.

The Denver Broncos have hired former New Orleans Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi as their new special teams coordinator, a league source confirmed to The Athletic on Friday. The Philadelphia Eagles could be losing two coaches to Kellen Moore’s staff in New Orleans. Defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator Christian Parker is interviewing for the defensive coordinator in New Orleans, while quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier is interviewing for the offensive coordinator opening.
