The Florida Panthers were not about to get goalied against the Calgary Flames on Saturday. Dan Vladar did try his best. Florida controlled the game from start to finish and got a couple in the second to beat the Flames 3-0 for its third straight win and eighth in the past 10 games.

Mackie Samoskevich made it a 3-0 final at 16:08 of the third period. He took a pass from Bennett, drove in on Vladar and beat him on the backhand. It was Samoskevich’s 10th goal of the season and third in the past five games.
Tacking on one more goal for the Panthers in the third period, Mackie Samoskevich took a pass from Sam Bennett and tucked the puck around Vladar’s pad to make it 3-0 at 16:08. Over his last five games, the 22-year-old rookie has lit the lamp three times.
It was Gadjovich's third goal of the season (no assists) in 26 games, but his second game winner.
