Dry weather is expected statewide on Tuesday. It will be a mild start to the day with morning low temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s.
The first of two cold fronts expected to move across Kansas arrives on Wednesday afternoon and evening. A few storms are possible with its passage, mainly over south central and southeast Kansas.
Scattered showers will continue today mainly across the south and western parts of the state with some afternoon sunshine.
