Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has decided that he's going to return for another year of college ball.
As expected, Arch Manning is returning to the Texas Longhorns next year. Though Manning had the opportunity to declare for the 2026 NFL draft, he has instead decided to remain with Texas for his redshirt junior season. Manning’s dad, Cooper, confirmed the news in a text to ESPN saying, "Arch is playing football at Texas next year."
Arch Manning will return to Texas in 2026, his father told ESPN on Monday. Manning, a redshirt sophomore, is considered a top NFL quarterback prospect whenever he decides to turn pro. At least for now, however, that appears to be no earlier than 2027.
