Auburn offensive lineman DeAndre Carter plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. He spent two seasons with the team. After playing sparingly as a freshman, Carter played in all 12 games this past season.

Murphy, the former Texas and Duke quarterback, transferred to Oregon State this past offseason. The No. 82 overall player in the 247Sports transfer rankings finished the season with 1,805 passing yards and a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 9-to-8. Murphy completed 58.1% of his passes and Oregon State finished the season 2-10.

Redshirt freshman Favour Ebuka Edwin became the second Auburn offensive lineman expected to enter the transfer portal on Sunday. On3’s Hayes Fawcett first reported the news, and Edwin reposted the report on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He spent two seasons at Auburn, but never saw game action.

The Auburn Tigers’ 2025 season ended after a 27-20 Week 14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. After going 5-7, the program failed to reach bowl eligibility for the second straight year.
