Mets manager Carlos Mendoza has laid out the plan moving forward for superstar Juan Soto amid his calf strain injury.
With Juan Soto getting evaluated Tuesday to determine if his right calf requires an injured list stint, and Jorge Polanco playing on a gimpy left ankle, manager Carlos Mendoza admitted Saturday that maneuverability is a challenge.
“In the very first inning yesterday against the St. Louis Cardinals, Francisco Lindor, (with a) man on first (and) one out, ground ball to short, easy double play, and he steps on the second base bag and thought the inning was over and never throws the ball to first base,” Carton recalls, via YouTube. “And then he pulls the old my bad, my bad.”
