A Powerball player in Puerto Rico won $2 million, just missing the $55 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers and the Power Play but not the Powerball in the drawing Monday, May 5, the national Powerball site said.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to $65 million with a cash option of $29.9 million. The winning numbers were: 14, 15, 30, 40 and 59. The Powerball drawn was 20, with a Power Play of 3X.
