Connor McDavid had four assists and the Edmonton Oilers wrapped up a playoff spot with a 4-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Friday night.

Bouchard put Edmonton ahead 1-0 on the power play at 6:47 of the first period, one-timing a 91.3 mph slap shot from the high slot off a pass from McDavid in past Romanov, after it deflected off the stick of Sharks forward Alexander Wennberg.

Two organizations heading in opposite directions did battle as the San Jose Sharks (20-48-11) travelled to Edmonton to play the Oilers (46-28-5) in game three of their four-game season series on Friday night (April 11).
