TOKYO -- Japanese convenience store chain Lawson aims to increase the number of its overseas stores to 14,000 in the coming six years, mainly in Asia, to equal its current number in Japan.

TOKYO -- The number of foreign visitors to Japan hit a record 10.5 million during the first quarter, helped by an influx of Chinese tourists thanks to easing visa rules and cheaper flight tickets.
