Across the country, more than 1,000 visas have been terminated by the federal government. At least 306 of them were from Texas universities.

The speed and scope of the federal government’s efforts to terminate the legal status of international students have stunned colleges and universities across the country.

Several universities across the country have confirmed to UPI that international students have had their visas revoked without notice or had their Student and Exchange Visitor Information System records terminated.
