Ja Morant is on the injury report for this contest, listed as questionable for the Grizzlies with shoulder soreness. Morant had previously missed time this year due to a shoulder injury, as well as more games with various other ailments.

George was called for a travel, which is a turnover, but still didn't want to give the ball up. As he started walking up the court Scottiy Pippen Jr. tried to take the ball, but George wouldn't let him. Then Ja Morant came in from behind and slapped the ball away.

Memphis could ostensibly acquire KD without giving up Morant, Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, or prized rookies Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey. The problem is that the Grizz would be left with very thin depth after doing so.

The first pick, Zion Williamson, has been plagued with injuries throughout his young career and this season has been no different. Williamson has only played 10 games this season and has unfortunately already been ruled out for Friday's matchup in Memphis.
