The San Francisco 49ers are trading wide receiver Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders in exchange for a fifth-round pick, but could have potentially received a Pro Bowl talent instead for Samuel.

Mike Silver of The Athletic, one of the folks who reported on the trade talks, added that Allen could still get dealt to the 49ers in a separate trade, but hinted that they want the Commanders to pick up more of his salary than they have offered to this point.
