British number one Jack Draper is knocked out of the Italian Open as Carlos Alcaraz shows his quality under pressure to reach the semi-finals.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper embraced a top-5 battle in the quarter-final at the Rome Masters. Carlos bested his good friend 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 37 minutes for his first semi-final at Foro Italico.

The Spaniard also bagged a top-two seeding at the French Open which begins later this month, but in the meantime the four-time Grand Slam winner continues his bid for a first Rome crown.
