At least six international students at Colorado State University and four at CU have had their student visas revoked this semester, officials said.

The visas of 10 students at universities in Colorado have been affected amid nationwide student visa revocations, the universities confirmed.

Neither university has identified the students who lost their visas, said what countries they are from, or revealed whether federal officials provided any explanation.

DHS revoked four F-1 visas from four international students in the CU System. CSU said five international students were also impacted by visa revocations.

"The allegations supporting the revocation are unknown at this time," said President John Fry in a letter, adding that the student has chosen to return home.
