Drake basketball’s Bennett Stirtz will enter the transfer portal with the intent to join Ben McCollum at Iowa, he confirmed to the Register on Tuesday. Jeff Goodman was the first to report the news.

McCollum was hired by the Hawkeyes after leading Drake to the NCAA tournament and a first-round upset of Missouri.

Bennett Stirtz led the Drake Bulldogs with 21 points and four assists in the team's 67-57 win over Missouri in the NCAA Tournament.
