Did you know the first-gen Dodge Viper actually had blinker fluid? Well—sort of. Early cars used headlamp assemblies that contained real liquid-filled bubble levels, visible through the lens, to help align the lights. Long story short, Chrysler borrowed the lamps from the BMW Z1 parts bin, and the little fluid tubes were just leftover hardware from that design.
