I've mentioned before how PODD communication has been an amazing tool to help Jayden/Adam and I regulate and manage Jayden's intense behavior and emotions. I finally was able to catch a VERY small breakdown the other day. It's amazing how by offering Jayden words he is able to calm himself. Even if he maybe didn't really know what was wrong (as often happens in kids with traumatic brain injuries) at least he had words to try and put language to his feelings rather than using violent often self i
