1. First wash of cobalt blue for the sky and Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine Blue for the foreground. Paint around the whites of the ship. 2. Once dry, work the middle value from left to right. Spray and splash the big shape of the building on the right for texture. 3. Go over your darks and dry brush the masts and cranes to make the painting more dynamic. 4.
