There's a lot of advantages to a foam backer board 💥 And once you start installing foam boards.....its hard to turn back to cement board or hardi backer 😆 It's simply faster and in many ways better. WEDI specifically has some qualities that I love ❤ For one it is much more rigid than other foam boards, secondly (which is a BIG one) its waterproof all the way through 😃 So if you cut or nick the surface you are okay! This is especially helpful when you need to adjust cut a tile after it is set.
